New addition to the fleet

I had I guy call and ask if I was interested in a 68 long box. Well I couldn't say no so I went and looked at it last night.
it's a 1968 GMC C-20 custom lwb. 307 with manual tranny.Power steering and power brakes. The truck seems to run well and body is fair. Has rocker, cab corner and a little rear fender well rust but the floor is solid. the guy told me some of the wood was bad in the bed so they put in a box liner. Haven't been able to see under liner but looks pretty decent from underneath. spent all afternoon cleaning and removing things like the gun rack and rifle stickers. all the missing trim was laying in the box. The tires are bad but I have a different set to go on it. the other 2 white spokes for a complete set are in the box. Gotta sand blast the wheels tomorrow and repaint the white so I can get the other tires on. had to spend an hour removing homemade fan shroud and radiator over flow so now with factory shroud at least it looks more factory. No pics of removal progress. also had to get rid of the extra large horn setup on drivers fender. Still some odds and ends to attend to but at least it is pretty much back to stock. Also need to get some different carpet in this as right now it is astroturf . Not sure on the plans for this one as I am a 72 fan and the 68's just don't hold any appeal for me. Kind of nice to have a GMC for a change though. Any way when this one gets alittle cleaned up it will probably go for the 72 fund!! Anyway on to the pics!!!!!

Of all my favorite things to do, The utmost is to have a brew.
My love grows for my foamy friend, with each thirst-quenching elbow bend.
Beer so frosty, smooth, and cold it's paradise pure liquid gold.
Yes beer means many things to me that's all for now cus I gotta pee.

Well ---- He called me so it's not like I was looking for it
the best part is I parked it by the barn in the row with the rest of the parts trucks and my wife didn't even notice the difference.
Not sure whether the bulldog stays or goes kind of unique

Smart thinking. I have always liked the slope of the hoods on the 67-68 GMC's. Cool truck.
