New Steering Wheel

I put on a new steering wheel (the kind you buy at any auto parts store) and I cannot get the horn to fit right. It was going off on it's own so I took it all out. Any ideas?

The horn button supplies the ground for the horn relay,If it is going off its because the wire or button base is touching metal somewhere.

Yea, i figured that out.. the problem is the middle of the new steering wheel is metal and just floats in the center and touches the horn setting it off.

Duct tape.LOL
They make a horn kit for you wheel other wise you will have to modify or fab a way to keep it off the metal.
might post a pic, some one around here will have an idea.
