WTB Engine Towers

I am looking for a set of engine towers. I prefer the ones that set the engine back further (6 cyl, right?) If in the IN/OH area I can pick-up. If not shipping would be to 47374.

I just removed a 292 I6 from a '69 C-20. The towers were in great shape. I am guessing they weigh about 4-5 lbs? How about $20 shipped? I can get them in the mail tomorrow AM. I have paypal, or you can send a MO. Let me know.

You can use the regular SBC towers, they are the same. Just put them in the rear holes and you have them in the L6 position. Moves the engine back, no problem.

I have a set on ebay right now that are powder coated. $15 opening bid... Click here

Are you sure, I tried this jst last week. And although they do bolt to the top two holes it looked like I would have to drill a hole at the bottom to mount the V8 Mount in the I6 Position.......jt

v-8 towers will not work where 6 cyl. towers go . each one has there on spot. 8cyl. goes in the 2 front holes. 6cyl goes in the 2 rear holes.

Nope.....not w/o drilling.

You need the 250 ones, as the 292 has a different type on one side......going on memory here.

My bad, I always thought they would. I've never tried it, but was under the impression they did. Learn something new everyday, right...

I am putting in a LS1. With the adapters I am getting it mounts up just the same as a standard 350. I was planning on using the I6 mounts to move it back further, if there are certain ones I need let me know. Thanx

I'm running my 350 on the stock 250 6-cylinder mounts & it sits back about 3"w/o not problems (dizzy is closer but manageable, not a problem on the LS-1)....
