To keep or not to keep aftermarket cruise control???
My 74 has an aftermarket cruise control setup. It's made by Dana corp in Toledo Ohio. It had a couple broken wires I fixed in the steering column, but I haven't hooked up the vacuum control pod that actuates the throttle to test her out yet. I still have the original manual so I could make it work if need be.
I'm just curious how well these worked because I feel like ripping the whole thing out. I never needed to use it once and the harness goes everywhere. Sure would clean things up and give me a grommet hole for my tach wire. whatya guys think........can it or not?????? |

I never liked those vac controlled setups. I tossed mine in favour of a much cleaner electronic cruise setup
