Need Sway bar info.
I am installing the sway bar now. Do I need to torque the bolts down? Or just good and snug?

If you have tightened many bolts down in your life, you tend to start getting a feel for whats the right amount of tight. If you use a 3/8 ratchet your arm will tell you when it's tight enough. You start putting a pipe on the end of your ratchet, that's when you will over-torque and bust bolts. I'm sure there is a torque spec out there for an Edsel muffler clamp if you look hard enough. Torque IS important, especially on engines, steering components, etc. On a sway bar? Important yes, crucial? Just use your God-given torque wrench and tighten 'er down. Otherwise, someone on this board will give you the torque spec for your man made version if you wait long enough, I'm sure. Take care, Hot Rod

Thanks hotrodmtodd for that. I have not tightened that many bolts in my life but I am learning. Thanks for the info.

The link above unfortunately contains torque values designed for the inferior mopar hardware only, so use these values at your own risk.
