options for '72 K1500 super custom 4x4

Hi all,

I own a 1972 GMC 1500, 4x4, super custom that I am starting to get serious about the restoration. I have collected all of these trim pieces and emblems over the years - when I didn't know any better that some of them were not for my truck. May I request two things from the board:

1) pictures of your '72 GMC's (4wd or 2WD)
2) any help on the 'package' for my truck/year (trim, wood grain, headliner, radio, seats, rims/caps)

I know, I can do whatever I want - but I would like to get it back to original with a few minor custom items.

Thank you,

I`m not sure, but I think the SuperCustom GMC is the same as a CustomDeluxe Chevy in`72.They could have everything a Sierra or SierraGrande could have except:woodgrain interior/belt moulding/tailgate band, headliner, carpet(maybe could order individually),and the full vinyl scroll or houndstooth seat.Yours would have the lacey nylon cloth inserts. The one thing you could have that a Sierra or SierraGrande couldn`t is the lower trim across the tailgate.Does this jive?
