What is This ??
I bought an old 85 Burb for parts( and its gone now) last fall that originally had a diesel in it. The motor was out of it and this trans was laying on the back seat. The guy I bought it from said this trans was from a wrecker and it was for the Burb. I got excited and thought it was a 700R4 and I could use it behind the BB in my 72 .. Doing some internet research today and printing off a pic of a 700R4 I realized this trans isnt a 700R4. Can someone tell me which trans this is..

I found this site the other day while researching a torque converter; http://www.phoenixtrans.com/html/faq.html ,hope that works. Anyway I saved it because they give all the dimensions and some other interesting info.
