Front end for 49 GMC

I have a 49 GMC and am doing a ground up resto on. The drive train includes a GM small block Ram Jet 350/R-700 trans/ford 9 inch rear end/20 inch wheels and 29-30 inch tires. I want this as a driver and will be driving up to 300 mile trips in it, so the drive train and esp the suspension/brakes are impt(looking at Wilwood 12 in discs X 4). I also do not want the 6 inch drop the TCI custom IFS offers. The TCI mustang II front end (4 inch drop) may be ok but I,m not sure the Shockwaves ver3.0 I have can fit on it. The Kugal, Heidts and Fatman are option but I'm concerned about dropping it to low to be funtional. Any ideas.

I just put a TCI under my 48 GMC Panel. I replaced the AMC Pacer front suspension. I used the standard spindles. The standard offset 15X7's didn't work with the new suspension because the track is about 5 total inches narrower, so now my truck as 10's and 295/50's all the way around. Its a different look than lowered, but is tuff! Don't know about the airbags, but the reseller I purchased from may know. He definitely has the best prices: Tims Specialty Hot Rod Parts in Spokane Valley, Washington. 509-926-1429
