JB weld
I used jb weld to seal up the plugs on a Quadrajet i rebuilt, but i havent installed it yet. Will jb weld work on these plugs or will it leak? Has anyone had any experiences with sealing these plugs?

I have never sealed and plugs like you are talking about, but JB is some tough stuff. I have used it to seal a crank case on a motorcycle with no problems. Once that stuff hardens it is nearly indestructible.

I have dominator float bowls on a Holley vacuum secondary, and I had to fill the rear acceletator pump hole. Epoxy (like JB Weld) works fine for me.

If you clean and prep the parts you are going to use the JB weld on, it will work great, if you don't, it won't work very well. Read the direction and go from there. Rough the material you are bonding (fine sand paper or wire brush), blow it out good and clean with mineral spirits or denatured alcohol. I have also used rubbing alcohol to clean area to be bonded.
Most people who do not have good luck with epoxies don't do the preparation and it doesn't work for them. At work, we have fixed cracked pump cases, gear boxes, etc, with JB weld and other epoxies.

I have nothing against JB weld. Its just I dont think its made to hold up long term to fuel, there was a post about this awhile back.

I just did that a few days ago on mine. I'm not sure that either sets of plugs were leaking, but for insurance then why not. The manual I bought for rochesters suggested that too. But if you had problems with it flooding or running excessivly rich then definatly try it.
