What's It Worth (tach)

I have a gear driven tach that has been restored, the lens has some wear as far as the #s goes and would be willing to sell but have no idea what it is worth any feedback please. The tach has been taken apart and the face has been cleaned and clear coated, the needle painted and the backing plate media blasted and painted. The tach is in excellent cond.

Thanks PT

I bought a tach head and lens off e-bay this winter for about $62. The tach head is not quite as nice as yours, but the lens i have appears a little bit nicer. The lens also had a vacuum. Hope this helps.

I was thinking about 50 bucks + shipping but I did not want to hurt anyones feelings, I just was not sure what it was worth. It would make someone a nice resto piece ( the tach is very nice)

Thanks PT

Didn't know there were two different kinds of tachs. First one those I've seen. What truck did this kind come in??

Bstack my guess is that it came in a 40-60 series truck with low rpm's the tach only goes to 4000 rpm's and the printed circuit board has 66 on the back telling me that it was either a 66 truck or an early 67 most of the 40-60 series that I have seen came with 366 cu motors that I have heard were just good old boat ancors.

I guessing that is a mechanical tach. Most likely for a diesel truck. Like the c-40 or bigger. Just in case you didn't know.
