Power Window Issues
I have an '89 Suburban and the right rear window works intermittently. When testing, I can hear the motor try to move the window up (already closed), but no action in the down position. I'm wondering if there are limit switches in there somewhere that stop the motor when the window is all the way down or up and perhaps the motor thinks that the window is all the way down.
Anyone got any thoughts? New motor time? |

There's no limit switch or anything, I would do as suggested above and start at the switch.

I tried the door switch, no luck. The only thing I haven't tried is replacing the 4-position switch on the driver's door since there is a feed-through on that one. I'll try to pickup a used one for testing. I'm just trying to avoid the hassle of replacing the motor if I don't have to!
Thanks for the info! |
