heat Q
i have a set of bb chrome valve covers that i blasted and painted.they have about a 1in ridge down the center.i want to get the local sign shop to make me some decals out of the stuff like you letter a race car.will they stand up to the heat under the hood.thanks

decals
I think you better ask the decal shop this question. I'm pretty sure there are decals like you want but you need to be worried about the heat from the oil underneath the valve cover. Would it be possible to make a stencil and paint the design on the valve covers?

i had some paint to match my truck mixed up in a spray can.and painted them and then found out where its enamel they cant do the hardner in the spray cans.if i try to stencil and paint it on im scared it will blister up.i quess i could bead blast them again and pull out the spray gun this time.
