leveling an 86 shorty

i have been on this site for alittle while now and a lot of you have lowered your trucks i want to do this but i drive on some rough roads some times (two big dips on mother inlaws paved road to her house) i dont want to have to slow down the road is fun to hall ass on ha ha ha. any way i think i want the ass end to be level with the front end with out having to do anything to the front. i have thought about the flip kit but i think it will lower it to much for my liking any suggestions as for as what to do, and not be cutting corners to make the truck un-safe or just flat out not the smartest thing to do. i have also put a f@#d 9 inch w\ disk no diffrents in hight as far as i can tell please give me as many ideas as you guys can thanks alot. MATT

just add 1" lowering shackles and it should bring it down to about level with the front.

you may even be able to get away with about an inch if you take the load leaf off the rear springs... thus also hurting your hauling capabilities...
