Lowering a 72 longbed C20
I just scored a free 72 longbed stepside C20 from my wifes uncle! where can i order suspension from? All the sites i looked at only have lowering kits for C10's, is it the same? (dont think so) Anyway, all i know about this truck is that it looks kick ass, so please let me know everything about it! Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the help and the warm welcome! I'll post pictures soon, the rust is not that bad considering this truck has been hauling macadamia nuts in Hawaii since 1972!

Would that have rear coils, or leafs?
If it's coils all around, then just get any lowering spring, they'll all fit in there. You can get away with a 2 1/2 inch to 3 inch drop in front with just springs before you start getting into geomitry problems. Welcome to the board from central ohio....and yes, we gotta see pics of your rig. |

Welcome! Are you in HI?Like Longhorn Man said,Coils you`re good to go.Leafs, you can do an axle-flip.Adapt the axle to sit above the springs like the Nippon Haulers. That`s what post-72 trucks do.
