Source for 71 GMC bedliner?
Cannot spend the dough for LineX or Rhino, so I need an affordable bed liner that I can put in the bed of my Fleetside GMC. Just to keep the elements in their place, and off the bed floor! Any suggestions on where to find one for this vintage truck? Also would like to install a decent hand rail along each side of the bed...where to start my search?
Thanks in advance for your help! |

MotherTruckers did my bed liner for me ... very cheap.
He sprayed Transtar Rubberized Undercoating (about $35 per Gallon) inside my bed. It works just like the Rhino stuff, but much cheaper. The product claims, "Designed for use on all under fender/underbody applications as well as trunk interiors, deck lids and under hoods." It really worked very good for my bed liner. Just another idea ...

If your thinking of getting one of those plastic bed liners my strong advise is to not do it. They cause more damage than they save. I used Herculiner and sprayed it on. So far no problems. Key is prepping the bed floor first.
