Getting ready to order headers
Well tommorrow or tuesday I think I will order my header kit
It's coming from Chris Alston's Chassis Works and will include: 3/8" thick header flanges to bolt to the heads, (14) J-bends in 1 3/4" pipe, 2 1 3/4" - 3" collectors. As soon as I get that in I can start making the headers, then I'll take them to a buddy of mine to be all TIG welded up so they look nice and clean. After I get those done, the hot piping done, and the Intercooler piping done, it'll all be sent off to JetHot to get some coating. I also found some pretty darn good deals on Polished front mount intercoolers, so I'll save about 300 bucks on the Intercooler

would love some info on what you are doing here...I have an 85 blazer that one day will be turbo charged...its a 383 fuel injected, running 11 to 1 compression (which is why it is not turbo charged right now )
my thought has been to do a front intercooler and do a custom air damn...any way...any info would be GREAT! |

I'll be documenting the build and probably putting regular updates on here, so stay tuned.
Basically it'll be about a 10:1 compression 406 sbc with a T76 turbo on blowthrough.
