Meathead 95 Pics (72 truck/Blazer cruise control)
Here are the pics of a complete 1972 Chevy/GMC truck/Blazer cruise control set up. Most units out there are missing several of the hard to find parts like the correct throttle linkage bracket and rear carb mounting bracket. Also, most people forget to get the brake plate and brake control switch, as well as carefully unplugging all electrical connections. Missing parts require the purchase of several set-ups to get everything you need.
First pics are under the dash items: 1) Cruise Master under dash mount control and all wiring loom intact 2) Brake pedal activator switch and special mount plate Next is under hood items: 3) Drivers inner fender mounted control unit 4) Drivers inner fender vacuum operated servo 5) More views of inner fender mounted unit Last edited by dtlilly; 06-12-2005 at 04:02 PM. |

6) Shows all linkage and necessary brackets for factory 4BBL Q-Jet. Rear carb bracket also allows for accelerator cable. 7) Shows speedo cable from dash to inner fender unit, needs cable from unit to TH-350 Tranny. |

I took a rag with 409 on it a wiped the dirt and grease off the control to show how well it will clean up. I must have been too close or moved the camera, because the "AC Cruise Master" came out blurry.

That is a rare set-up indeed.... Looks to be very complete and in pretty good condition for it's age..
