69 Chevy Truck Front Brakes
Can anyone guide me through the least costly process of replacing my front drum brakes with power disc. WHere do I buy them and what are my options for the least amount of $$

Find a 73-up truck with power front disks and swap the cross member and other needed parts. I'm getting my set-up out of a 73 burb in exchange for hauling it away and stripping the good parts off so he can sell them. Not gonna cost me a dime, 'cept may be for a quart of brake fluid.

I swapped out mine on my '69. I bought dropped spindles from Early Classic Enterprise, but you can get stock height if you want. They are machines to accept the tie-rods and ball joints from a '69. So, you don't have to remember what year every part came off of later on. I just went down and bought new rotors, bearings, calibers, and pads for a '73 from AutoZone. The brake lines, I bought from InLine Tube. Now, they were not that cheap...but they are stainlees steel with steel braided hoses. I have to say they went on really easy, so I guess they were worth the money.
