brake problem need help
i just put a booster master cyl. and prop. valve from a disc truck on my 67 with drums. they work some what but they won't slide the tires. is the prop. valve the problem or poor adjustment. everything else for the brakes is new. thanks for any help adam

I'm thinking you shouldn't be using the proportioning valve from the disc truck. It is meant to balance the braking force between the discs and the drums. You should probably put your original proportioning valve back on.

i'm also thinking that the disc brake master cylinder doesn't hold enough brake fluid to work with the drum brakes,as well as the proportiong valve issues
