The orginal bench seat seems to rattle quite a bit. Does anyone have any suggestings on quieting the thing down?

Try setting the driver's side where you want it, then reach under the passenger side and find the wire to the pass. side adjustment. Pull on that wire (releasing the catch), then force the seat either forward or back. Racking the seat like this may stop the rattle.

Seat Rattle

Try putting a return spring on both seat tracks. Usually they are just on drivers side stock. Allows passenger side to rattle.
