Geez, that first pic looks almost exactly like my truck did when I started, only I didn't have a seat or a steering column.

It looks like you converted the gas pedal to a 71-72 type? I have a setup from a 72 and wondered how hard it would be to swap this into my 70..

In that first pic that shows the bedside & door, I was wondering that type of paint scheme you were running....then I realized it was the shadow from the privacy fence!!! DUUUUHHHHHH!!!
Hey, do you have access to a welder? Or a buddy that welds?? I can send you a center section to get the dash back into shape. It would repair the radio hole and the ashtray hole....unless you are planning to install a small fire-resistant SAFE or something. (j/k).

my cab is a 67 and it came with accelerator rod and it mounted on the outside of the cab,the cable bracket mounts inside and i put my kickdown switch there,on the hole i actually widened it from previous, the guy had scabbed a piece of thin sheet metal over the original radio slot that had been bugard up,i used a piece of aluminum diamond plate that i had ,made it as a removeable so i can put me a radio in there and some extra guages,i need to get a shifter yet, probably a( hurst indy stick),on the outside im going with a satin black and some wheels.

thanks for the replies-this truck has nine lives-hahaha,it actually has flames underneath the primer,i think they primed it before the owner i got it from,i dont have access to a shop so im kinda doing it out in the driveway, had to rebuild the doors-regulators,latches and locks-everything is getting up to snuff, its not going to get a ground up resto but should be fun to drive, look decent and be safe

Looks a lot better. Go ahead and mount a TV in that hole in the dash.

ROFLMAO...I thought that was a pretty even run pattern at first, then I thought it was masking then I read PUTTER's post. In this neighborhood a privacy fence is a 14 ft concrete wall...a "Good Neighbor" fence, on the other hand is 14 ft chainlink with razor wire on top...LOL!
