67-72 license plate Kentucky, what are they worth?

Great score today!! Installed a new electrical service on an old garage for the new owners and found these plates in the garage. The no said that the guy liked old cars, but I say TRUCKS anyway, he had no use for them and was trying to clean the place up a little and told me I could have them. I have all 67-72 years in at least pairs some years have three of them. I haven't a clue what they are worth, but will be keeping the 69 plates for me for sure The pics aren't that good and I haven't even cleaned them yet, but a little feedback would be greatly appreciated Randy

Dude, take it from a streetrodder, those '27 plates are worth a little, maybe even a couple hundred bucks, in Virginia they go for up to $300. The other plates are anywhere from $35 to $80 per pair depending on the condition and what someone's willing to pay.

Are probably the the most valuable. In restored condition they bring anywhere from $125 - $300 for 1 depending on the state, and condition and how bad the person wants it.

I usually by the "beat up" dented ones for 1933 for my HotRod Pickup for $5-10 ea.

Those you got there are pretty nice so i would agree with Randy on the $35-80 range.

the '27 maybe a little higher

Sell as is. There are professionals out there that restore these plates, do not attempt yourself, unless you know what your doing, or the plates will become worthless.

Bisquick, I suggest keeping those plates out of the sun. Eventually you will only have a wall of old metal.
