Question 12 bolt tubes

Just got the 12 bolt tore down and I'd like to give it a good cleaning before re-assembly. What do you all use to clean out inside the tubes? This one had been setting up for awhile and looks to have rust on the inside. Thanks!

That was the ticket, thanks. I've got the pinion in but havn't had a chance to check its depth yet. I got called in to work so I'll have to leave in a bit and see if I can finish it up tomorrow. I'm changing from an open 3.08 to a posi 3.42.

I've used muratic acid.
Here is a product I saw this week in Street Trucks magazine - www.evapo-rust.com available at Auto Zone. I'm going to pick some up this week
