AlaskanMans 69 Crewcab Pics ( LOTS )

Here are several pics of my 69 Crew Cab

The information I got from the guy I bought this from said that British Petroleum had 25 of these built for the North Slope oilfield.
He thinks there is one more somewhere in Anchorage.

Mods are
6" lift
Power Steering
Power Brakes
Disc in front
Several engine compartment modifications
: ( Still sorting them out )

Stock 292 inline w/ 4 speed & NP 205

Thinking about making it a duallie and putting a 350 in it

[

And the view from my office

I like it, I like it, Let me know if you find the dually covers for your bed sides. I have got a lead on a pair but havn't laid my hands on them yet. Are you going to put the extensions on your wheels or change your axels out ? let me know I thinking the same thing.

I have found an axel i am thinking about, Then i will probly build a wood bed to haul my honda foreman around.

To edit I just found out about the extensions and it sounds like the way to go, just because i dont know the gear ratio on the axle i was thinking about.

Thumbs up

that is a cool looking truck. the front axle looks wide, is it a dana 44 or a dana 60? i've seen a LOT of 67-72s but never a crew cab in person, only pics. looks like a fun ride and beautiful country to use it in.
two thumbs up from calif.
