I just bought this...so why am I nervous?
I just won this auction on ebay. I've never purchased anything this large on there without seeing it first. My truck I saw on ebay, but the guy didn't get what he wanted for it so I bought after the fact. I just got off the phone with the seller and he seems pretty cool about it. When the bid went through I was kind of shaking. I was on the other line with my wife and she said she was too.
Going to try to go pick it up on Sunday. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4561268430

if you won a bid with a no reserve auction and the guy won't sell it to you it doesn't say much about his character. i'd complain to ebay i sure as crap wouldn't buy it from him

cdowns-I guess I got you confused. The seller of this "Trazer" is cool with it. There was no reserve so he told me he would have liked to get more for it but he knows that's the way it goes. I was talking about my truck(see at the bottom) that I saw on ebay and the guy didn't get what he wanted for it. I contacted him after the auction and made him an offer and bought the truck.
I guess I could always make it back into a blazer?

You're like me - I'd be nervous too if I was buying a truck sight unseen from Indiana or anywhere else up north with the salted roads in the wintertime.
Just kidding. Hope it works out good for you bro'.

Shaking with excitement I hope. Looks like a good deal, just remember not everything is perfect, I dont think many of us could afford a perfect truck, plus we would be so pariniod to drive it. Good luck with your purchase, I ve bought 2 project sight unseen, one was 9000.oo, that was taking a chance, but I ended up with the deal.
Post better pics when you pic it up, Later

Well for out here in California that is a great deal even if the blazer is half as good as it looks. Have fun with it.

I was thinking the same thing, but I have no body work skills whatsoever so I wouldn't know how to.

Bryan,
That's mighty fine. Congrats. BTW, we'll be back in Nashville on the 28th or 29th of this month. DCI show at MTSU is the 29th. Same night as the cruise in at Stones River.

My friend built something very similar to that, except out of a '76 or so Blazer. It never was as nice as yours, though. It was just a beater/work truck.
About 20 years ago, I built a shorty, a '67 small-window cab and a step-side bed on a '70 blazer frame. It was a lot of fun, but I never did have enough money to finish it right and then my wife wrecked it. I didn't think I had a picture of it, but I recently found one, I need to have it scanned so I can post it. I think you'll have a nice, fun truck there.

Very nice at an excellent price. You will be in 7th heaven soon, after the buyer remorse fades.
Get a fan shroud and a different fan with clutch. Get rid of the flex fan. I think it is missing the vacuum pod. Make sure the vacuum source for your power brakes is not shared. Looks like you have a tach dash, Cool! Take it in the dirt before you start cleaning it. Nice wheels and bumpers. The carrb is probably a very reliable Edelbrock 1406. Heck bring it to California and sell it for $4500. Enjoy.

I was digging around the E-bay a couple days ago and saw that thing. I thought it was pretty cool & almost made a thread about it in the parts page. I think a 'unibody' tazer would just be fun to have as a conversation starter.

"The truck does have some minor work needing to be done. It does have some rot in it, has some cracking of bondo." & "kokomo, IN." Are those your reasons for being nervous? Hope it works out well for you, you still got it for a good price and it looks cool!

I know exactly what you mean. I just bought this 1 owner 72 Cheyenne Super SWB off ebay and am a little nervous as well. I have never bought a vehicle without putting my eyes on hands on it. I talked with the guy, seems way cool too. I am having a vehicle inspection done as well since it is in GA and im in CA. I hoping for the best for both of us. Looks like you have yourself a cool ride, enjoy.

Hey Brian, that's , guess your glad you didn't buy my Hond@
Couple of questions for ya, 1. You have to drive it to my cookout, or if you must bring your stepside, tow it behind the trazer and bring them both. 2. If you deceide to go back to a blazer from a trazer, I want that custom made half top thingamabobber for GQ
