Gas tank removed
So i removed the ol' potential fire ball from behind the seat, put in some buckets, and a custom center consol. Now i have that big open void that the big bench seat used to hide so well. Anybody have an idea on how to fill that in back there and have it look decent? I thought maybe using expandable foam, shaping it to the contours of the cab and covering it with auto carpet. It can be undone so it cant be that bad of an idea, right?

I would definitely go with some stereo equipment and speakers. I personally don't like a hard thumpin system but I like to crank Skynard up and be able to understand what thaey're singing at high volume.
You could also consider building some kind of storage system with hidden panels. Seeing that there's not much storage space in these trucks. My .02

First off, the cab tanks are safe.
You have a few choices, some already posted. I'd opt for a little more legroom and move the seat tracks back a little What rear tank setup did you go with? |

I done a custom box covered it with carpet (wasn't finished in pic) installed two 12" subs. Gives you a nice back massage while driving if you play the right song.
