Steering Box Quick Ratio ?

Oky well I got the 67 on the road. My ares are tired. It's like a million turns lock to lock. What else can I use that is a faster ratio ? It's a 72 2WD. What doner truck ?

Thanks,

I have an ECE quick ratio box that takes out a full turn lock to lock. It seems like I read somewhere that a 79 pickup has the same ratio. I don't know if that is true, however you can count the turns lock to lock and find out.

My ECE box takes not quite 3.5 turns to go from lock to lock. This is right at one full turn less than the factory Power steering box that I removed.

3.5 is pretty quick. I have an ECE box to go on my '68 when the time comes. My '02 S10 has the zq8 package with quick ratio steering which is 3.0:1 and it's a little twitchy at speed... not real bad, but it certainly lives up to it's name (quick).

AGR boxes are about 3-3.5 turns.
