DJM 73-87 drop spindles on my 64

Hey guys,

I forgot to ask an important question before I order my drop spindles., I know I will need to change my upper ball joints, but what about my linkage? Will I need to swap tie rod ends or anything to make my spindles fit? If so what will I need and would it just be easy to replace everything or is there a simple way to change only parts of the front linkage.

Yes you will with the tie rods. Just find a doner truck. Thats what i did

can I get away with only swapping tie rod ends? Will the newer tie rods bolt up to my stock suspension or do I have to get some sort of adapter?

I am not sure but I believe they wont match up. I ended up just buying a complete front end from a 73+ for $300. Might want to do that b/c you still need the brakes and then you have everthing else you need

That is what I was thinking, I plan on swapping everything over from a donor truck and then buying new discs, pads and lines.
