Is the difference in the bracket sets, plate metal instead of cast iron?
Will this set work on other than 67 Chevy or 67-9 GMC?

Yes it will fit any of the 67-72 chevy or gmc trucks. I just personally have never seen them on anything else than 67 Chevy and 67-9 GMC. I am sure they will fit passanger car also, they are for short water pump. Yes these are all stamped steel and no cast iron pieces.
