Need to find a part - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

The chevy dealership said it was discontinued in 1987 and neither LMC, Chevy Duty nor Yearone have them or at least to what I've seen. I'm looking for the plug-in for the stepside taillight that comes through the bed. I actually only need the Grommet but I have a strange feeling that I'm going to have to buy the entire wire that goes down the frame and out the two sides of the bed near the tail lights. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you talking about the rubber groment that the wires go through? If so you should be able to pick some up from any electrical store or check the local auto parts store in there HELP section.

You might get lucky and find one at you local salvage yard.
