Radio
I know this has been covered before, but what are you guys using for radios. Seems like I remember reading that the factory look alikes weren't that good, and it would be nice to have a cd player.
How about some pictures. (not concerned about cutting dash) Thanks DR67

Well if you are looking at a high end head (with mp3, and tons of extras) I would strongly recommend the Pioneer DEH-P9600 or look at the Alpine Heads. If your looking for a high end unit with not many bells & whistles go for any Nakamichi (unreal sound reproduction), however it can be hard to find a tech to repair them if they fail (so I've read). It really boils down to what kind of performance you want for your music. If your looking for a decent middle of the road deck I would consider the Pioneers or Alpines. Go to a place that sells car audio (not wallyworld or radioshack.....) and bring a few of your favorite cd's with you and test drive their equipment, I think this is a great way to get a better idea of what your looking for. Also installation (done right) is important for sound quality AND fire prevention. Hope this helps. Doug
