Header Question
I know that this is probably a stupid question , but I was wondering how far below the frame rails do full length headers sit?
EX. Summit Headers pt. # SUM-G9006-9

If it is your normal truck headers, way below, like 3" or more. Plus they are pointing downward also.

my full length truck headers point back.. but they do sit well below the frame as evident by the scrap marks on the bottom from the previous owner.. if you are worried about clearance go with shorties.

I got a set of Summit brand full length headers, part (# SUM-G9006) for $79.50 and they seem to fit just rite to me, when i had them on to mock up the exhaust on my 76 GMC 2wd. I tookem back off to finnish up on some other things i had to do with the clutch assembly. From what i remember is that they pointed straight back. Good Luck
