I've seen them on a white car painted white with the chrome trim...and it looked good, BUT, it would be a tough one to make work...esp if your truck isn't white.

get one wheel and test it. you can also use the smaller wheel rings and a flatter hub cap to make the wheel look deeper.

Years ago I had a copper and white 70 with white ralleys. It looked good IMO. Other pic is of some slime lime ones, minus caps and rings. Maybe a bit much for some, but I like lime.

When I repainted mine this spring, was going to do the argent silver but the lil missus talked me into staying with the gloss black.

I have seen many of these painted the same color as their truck and that looks nice.

For the record I wasn't going to paint my deep dish rallies White. I personally like the argent silver, but I did see a solid red Truck of our era with gold (with metal flake) painted rallies and it looked amazing!
It was suggested to me (by a fellow who liked my truck)that I paint my rallies white when I expressed interest in going with a stock steel type wheel with Blue bowite hub caps. Just wanted to see if it had been done more or less... Thanks for the reply's!

I think BobbyK has his painted to match the pale yellow body color of his Blazer.

I have body color ralleys on my 96 and they look great. I have seen several white truck white white ralleys and they look real good. You could go either way and it would still look great. I think the truck ralleys are about the nicest wheel you can put on our style trucks.

I used the hammered silver from Rust-olem. The rough look takes care of the imperfections where regular paint don't. Spend 5 bucks and try it

1. The lime and white ones were SS, my new silver ones are BC. The SS
looked fine, but didn't shine like the BC does. 2. The old wheels held up great for years even through winters, no problems, stains, or anything. New ones are starting to rust after one salt filled winter here, but I wasn't charged for the paintwork so I can't complain. The shop never primed the wheels..just painted them after I had them blasted. Maybe no primer is cause of rust? 3. They are as easy to take care of as any body panel, just hose it off at the car wash and wax once in awhile if you want.

Black shows off the chrome real nice! I redid my silver to black and everyone I asked likes it way better! Back in black!

I had the one's on my GMC sprayed new dodge minivan "Bright Silver". They look close to stock in the shade but shine much brighter when the sun hits them.
