question for DA BURB
Is the orange 68 c10 sitting at the gas station in your home town one of yours? Looks like it would make a good candidate for a resto project.

What? I don't even know about that truck? I must be spending too much time at work. It isn't one of mine. (and I bet you are talking about something in Montrose. I never really get into town so I don't know what is there. I live 2 miles east of town between Montrose and Delano) I'd like to find a place along Hwy 12 to put my longhorn so it could be seen and sold.

thank god I said "could" instead of would. I might do it if you were willing to pay $30.00 a gallon. 1000 miles at 10mpg x $30.00(US$) and it should still be enough to get me a bus or plane ticket home.

You should go check it out. Has a v-8 upgraded to HEI ignition. Not sure about the body it was very dark when I looked at it. I do know the doors are about shot and it does not look like factory paint. Tires are good and hubcaps may be original but not sure. Doors were locked so I couldn't get inside. Odometer reads 60k and has gauge dash but no tach. Asking price is $1000.00 or best offer.
