hurricane rita

well i dont know were to put this but since im a usual on this part of the site but i was just recently hit by rita i live in vidor which is 8 miles east of beaumont and well we rode it out and was woken to 4 trees in the frt yard 5 in the back and one hittin our shop which use to house my dads show truck sir galhad but we moved it the day before to another location due to the storm but we ended up puttin our 67 chevy in there but since we couldnt get the door to open but lookin under the door the frame wasnt on the ground but futher lookin the roof barely missed the cab and frt end so thats good but my truck which i just got thru redoin it we ended up puttin it in another town with less trees but it was put with my grandpas 641/2 stang,67 camaro,64 ford falcon ranchero,57 t-bird and 66 chevelle ss but we dont know the status on them due to we cant get to them and that dps has all the off ramps in beaumont shut down but i know that n2trucks know which truck im talkin about since he use to show with my dad back in the day but as far as we know is that there is no water were it is but not sure about the wind damage but i will keep yall informed on the status of my trucks since there very populat and hard to come by

sounds like you had your handsfull before she hit and sounds like you accomplished what you needed to, glad you and your family made it through ok and if the vehicles made it even better but the family is first.

i was hit too.....all is well.....with one exception, a freakin oak tree fell on one of my projects.....i have taken pics and will post them on my "here what i have been up to" thread as soon as i get power at my house
