What Color Were Tilt Columns?
1) Were all stock truck tilt columns painted black from the factory, or were some of them painted to match the interior?
2) If all tilt columns were black, did they all come with black steering wheels? 3) My original non-tilt column and steering wheel in my '72 were black even though the interior paint is blue with parchment trim. Were all non-tilt columns black in '72? |

I've got an orange 72 highlander with the parchment/orange plaid interior. It came with black carpet, dashpad, column and wheel. Door panels and sunvisors were white.
