Monroe Swap Meet today and found these beauties; Firestone Rims 9.75 x 16.5 with hubcap clips for my stock '68 hubcaps. I will sandblast them and paint them Anniversary Gold to match the Longhorn. PICKMUP, americanrider, Bob Moore, CG, oldiron, and lazygaurd witnessed my joy. I saw Bob Moore clutching a BEAUTIFUL speed warning dash that he stole from some unsuspecting vendor. It was a great day!

Many thanks to CG for kicking in for the barbque and americanrider for helping me haul all the gear back and forth from the truck. I can't wait to get those wheels detailed and on the Longhorn! STILL LOOKING for two more...LOL!

Speicial K, I am looking for two more 9.75 x 16.5's with the hubcap clips. americanrider thinks there are some at an old tire shop near him. I looked at four different style 9.75" and 8.25" rims at the swap meet. I swear there were a bunch of different styles with and without clips. The ones I bought were Firestone wheels. I have 4 stock Chevy 8.25" with clips on my big block Longhorn.
