step side gas tank issues

I have a stepside on my truck that a previous owner put on and has a sketchy filler hose on it, looks to be one of those universal rad hoses, and its kinked so that i have to pump my gas really slow or it spills out. Can anyone think of a way to fix this? or pics of what theres looks like. I heard one time that there was a special adapter piece for stepside beds.. is that true?

Never heard of it. Why not just buy the correct hose?
