1987 Transmission fluid leak?

Does anyone know if there is a recall or anything for the following issue:

I am leaking trans fluid from my driveshaft yoke going into my transfer case(4X4)

The fluid appears to be comng out of a weep hole in the yoke itself and is leaking on to the u joint?

Anyone e3ver have the same problem, or know of a fix?

Thanks for any help!!

Dan

Re: 1987 Transmission fluid leak?

It is a simple o-ring that needs to be replaced. Fairly common.

See here for a fix: http://www.73-87.com/7387garage/drivetrain/yokeleak.htm

Re: 1987 Transmission fluid leak?

I have done the fix on my TH-350C. It was pretty easy, at least on the 2WD.
