replacement p.s. reservoir hose

Hey there,
Stil putting finishing touches on my rig. Right now, I need to find the replacement hose from the power steering reservoir to the p.s. pump.

My biggest concern is that the material of the hose. It is 1" i.d. hose and I do not want to use something that p.s. fluid will just erode.

Has anyone got an idea of where to find this hose?

I have not seen p.s. hose this big in the local stores.

Thanks in advance for your help.

-Chuck

Re: replacement p.s. reservoir hose

NAPA should be able to... if they can't, then I'll see if I have some extra laying around at work.

Chuck,

I tried every parts place that I could think of and finally found one from Original Parts Group. Website: https://www.opgi.com/GateChev4.asp

Part number is CH20278. $29.95....pricey but it fits properly and is the correct hose.

It's listed as a big block Chevelle hose.

Regards,

Larry

Re: replacement p.s. reservoir hose

Thanks All for the help and the pm's.

Is it the teflon coating on the inside that distinguishes them fro other rubber hoses?
