Progress pics: Mirrors for 1pc window kit
While the bodyshop is promising to have the old girl finished by Friday, I figured I would piddle around the house a little tonight in preparation of her homecoming. I hated to drill holes in those brand new doors. I decided to mount some Billet Specialties models on their bent arms on the one piece windows filler pieces. Mounting them was fun! What do you think?

Re: Progress pics: Mirrors for 1pc window kit
If I don't get a chance to snap a shot tomorrow, when I take them to the bodyshop, I will get some next week when I get it all back together. (Next week I am on vacation! Garage full of parts all to myself! Hehehe!!)

I would be interested in seeing them mounted as well.
I have that one piece window kit sitting in my garage. |

Re: Progress pics: Mirrors for 1pc window kit
I think those are awesome. I was going to do the one-piece window deal, but I got tired of waiting on the backorder and eventually just bought new vent windows and channeling.

Re: Progress pics: Mirrors for 1pc window kit
I think they look awesome. They are large enough to be functional, yet small enough to look cool...

A few of you were wanting to see what the mirrors would look like once they were installed on the truck. Just got it back this morning and heres what it looks like.

After a trip from my mechanic's shop back to the house (about 30 miles) I can honestly answer that question. The best way I could describe it is...Functional. You can see what is behind you but it is not large and luxurious enough to spoil you by any means! Like most things in life, it is all a compromise. You just have to adjust to it. Dean
