Where exactly is the gray wire from the the PRNDL light supposed to plug into on a 71 chevy with a tilt colum? Did it originall plug directly into the fuse panal?
Thanks Jeff

Re: Tilt indicator light wire
No. Original was a fiber opic cable that plugged into a light socket on dash light holder. Just splice it into a gray wire in harness that is easy to get to.

Re: Tilt indicator light wire
No, tilts didn't use the fiber optic cable, we are talking about a tilt column here. I would like to know where it is supposed to go, I know I can splice it in under the dash, I want it to be hooked up like they were originally.
Thanks

Re: Tilt indicator light wire
it goes to the fuse panel and hooks up to one of the spots that say ignition hot, that way it comes on everytime you turn the truck on.

Re: Tilt indicator light wire
Take a test light and test the fuse panel. There is a single post that will turn on with headlight sw. edit it plugs in where it says cluster feed..... John

Re: Tilt indicator light wire
Anyone have a picture of the tilt indicator light? Mine's missing. Does it have a lens, or a bulb, or what?

Re: Tilt indicator light wire
John has it right... cluster feed. That'll turn it on and dim it with the dash lights. Good place for your aftermarket guages to get lit up from too.

Re: Tilt indicator light wire
Thanks everyone, I have tied it into the cluster feed terminal with a splitter/pigtail.
