supporting cab

What's the easiest (and cheapest) way to support a cab while I replace the floors, rockers, cab corners and all 4 cab mounts?
If it was just the rockers and cab corners I could just do them right on the frame, but once I cut out the floors and cab mounts there wont be anything to sit the cab on.
I know I should weld in some cross bracing to keep the cab straight.
Any other tips would help too.
I plan on buying ebfabmans videos. Hopefully that will be my Christmas present.

Re: supporting cab

I believe it would be best to do it a piece at a time on the frame. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=137862 Here's a thread discussing a similar topic.

Re: supporting cab

Thanks, that thread helped me think about the correct order.

One part that I haven't seen yet in any of the catalogs is the long front-to-back floor braces.
I should be able to clean mine up, but I'd like to be start with new ones if I could.
