I found one of those caddy's that go on your bench seat that hold two drinks and some CD's . Its vinyl and also works as an armrest, but its maroon. and i want to paint it green. Any ideas

I have used a product called SEM. New manufaturors recomend it when you buy interior parts. Works great, won't rub off and I have even used it to "restain" faded carpet. You can find it at most automobile paint supply shops.
