Question Lets play, Name that plug!

Today, I was looking at wiring on the firewall. Seeing what goes to what and what I could eliminate. I found a plug on the passenger side that didn't connect to anything(pic #1). Coming from the plug there was 3 wires, blue, green, and brown with a white tracer. The green wire was cut shortly after the plug and went to nothing. I then traced the blue and brown wires back to see where they went and they went in the hole with the arrow pointing at it(pic #2). In the same loom as the blue and brown wires there was one red wire and one black wire. They both were cut on the same end as the plug and went into the firewall in the same spot as the others. The red wire went to a key-on power soure on the fuse block. The black wire, along with the blue and brown went to a relay mounted above and to the right of the fuse block(pic #3). Any ideas of what these wires are for? Thanks

-Ben

Trucks with TCS had a solenoid on pass side of intake manifold by carb. They were controlled with a relay, but Im not sure of the location on the trucks. I think they had a connector similar to yours. John

Re: Lets play, Name that plug!

i asked about this not even a month ago, turns out it's an emissions thing. one or 2 go to the carb, 1 to the trans to mess with idle or something.. mine were cut, they're gonna stay cut.
