68 Mirrors
I ordered a pair of round stainless mirror heads for the 68 pedestal style mirrors , they're a little bigger than i expected , 5 1/2 in diameter . Anyone else found any in the 4 to 4 1/2 range ? I think these look too large . Also can you buy the choke delete plug with GM on it anywhere ? Thanks

Re: 68 Mirrors
I just put a pair of the smaller ones on my 68, but be careful, the ones I got, the glass is distorted, looks like a funhouse mirror !! But I got them cheap, like $15 for the pair from a good vendor here, just never bothered to return them. I actually want to get some bigger round or square ones, had the square before, but the bolts twisted off. I can't see much behind me with the smaller ones, but the glass is screwed also.
If you get something else I might buy those from you if you want.

Re: 68 Mirrors
I just ran out and measured one of my painted stock mirrors. It's just under 5 1/2 inches. I'm not 100% sure but I think the 67 stock round mirrors might have been a little smaller in diameter.
The choke delete plug is going to be a tough thing to find. I don't think I've ever seen one in any catalog. GMCPauls might have them.
