Howdy from SoCal

Hello to my new found truck pals from sunny SoCal! This message board looks great and I look forward to using it as I work through my project. My name is Mike and I have a 63 LWB Stepside that my dad purchased in 1965. I grew up with this truck and learned to drive in it. Dad gave it to me in 1984 when I was in high school and it was my daily driver until about five years ago. Original engine was the 292 six with three on the tree but all this was replaced in 90 with a large journal 327/Turbo 350 that ran mid-15's at Palmdale. It was still running strong with 140k miles on it when I parked it to start tearing it down for a frame off. I finally got started on it last year and have it nearly disassembled to the bare frame. I realy miss driving it. Stay tuned.....
