Powdercoating carburetor
There was a question about powdercoating carburetors a couple of months ago. Instead of dredging up the old (and REALLY off-topic) thread. I decided a new one is in order. Here is what can be done with an eastwood (or Harbor Freight) powdercoating kit.
The bowls are (true) holley chrome float bowls with transluscent red over the chrome. The body is a bright zinc Holley replacement carb body (similar to the proform) with transluscent red over the zinc. The base plate and metering blocks are proform billet. The color on the bottom picture looks like the body and the bowls are mismatched in color and depth, but that is not the cas. The zinc does not show quite the candied depth of the bowls but you REALLY have to be looking for it. The picture simply has the body in the center of the camera flash.

Re: Powdercoating carburetor
Just don't do that to a Rochester. They have a bad habit of warping.
