Cleaning plastic wiper bottle

Any good techniques for cleaning these? Mine is sound, but has a little staining from the bracket. I did a quick clean with Castrol Super Clean, but I'm wondering if there's anything else that would CLEAN them.

Thanks!

Re: Cleaning plastic wiper bottle

I soaked mine in a solution biological clothes washing powder overnight, worjked a treat. Rust stains may be harder as it may actually have stained the plastic, in which case theres probably little you can do.

do a test spot that cant be seen , like the back or bottom . some cleaners will eat into the plastic making them soft and gooie .

Wink Rust remover available at most hardware stores, or toilet bowl cleaner that advertises that it removes rust stains.

Re: Cleaning plastic wiper bottle

Will any of these methods get rid of the 30 year yellowing they all seem to have?
