67 frontend question
I am starting to find out that a lot of parts for my 67 are one year only. Can I convert my front end to the later style, mid 70s ball joints and disc brakes? I know these are a lot cheaper, and those trucks are everywhere and all have disc brakes. Also, is that style trucks 12 bolt the same width? What I am getting at is mine is 6 lug and I don't want to buy the 6 lug disc conversion, as replacement parts will be harder to come by. I want to just switch axle shafts but the conversion ones I have seen are too much money. Thanks

Re: 67 frontend question
I pulled the front end and rear axle assy out of a 72 and put them in my 67. I have enought parts here to convert 2 more trucks to 5 lug disc. I'm doing some early spring cleaning let me know if you need anthing.

Re: 67 frontend question
Ron!!, What do you want for the conversion parts? I wouldn't want the spindles as I am going to get drops for it.

Re: 67 frontend question
You can't just slide the axle shafts out of a later 5 lug and slide them into your 6 lug 67 rear... the axles are too long.
